A deaf child became the greatest inventor in the world

Once there was a very poor child and he was very interested in experiments. There was a small experiment room in the corner of his house where he practiced his experiment. Poverty-stricken, he had no room for experimentation. However, he sold newspapers on the train to support his family and worked hard to earn a living twice a day.

But he wanted to get out of poverty and enjoy richness. One day he was doing an experiment when suddenly phosphorus fell down which caused a huge fire in the train and the guards got angry on him and he was badly beaten and he was punched near his ear to which he became deaf.

He did not disappoint himself by being deaf but took the positive turn and always gossiped to himself saying, “It is better for me to be deaf because now I am unable to hear to the selfish people and their words.”

He never accused in his life that he failed thousands of times, in fact he learned from his failure and every failure gave him a new lesson.

He was none other than Thomas Edison, the inventor of the light bulb. According to the report, he failed 999 times while inventing the light bulb but did not give up till the end and finally he succeeded on his 1000th times.

After achieving success, he did not bother to look at his back and kept moving forward, as a result of which many more of his inventions came to light. In an interview, he was asked how he raised himself after failing 999 times.

He replied in some beautiful words, “I did not fail but thousands of times the bulb was the invention of thousands of steps.”

So when we fail once or twice we should lower our hopes because every success starts with failure. If there is no failure then no one knows the value of success as everyone now knows.
