QUETTA: The Chairman Pashtoonkhwa Milli Awami Party (PkMAP), Mehmood Khan Achakzai has served legal notice to the former caretaker Information Minister, Jan Achakzai and Deputy Commissioner Quetta Saad Bin Asad of damages of Rs. 20 Billion for leveling false allegations of occupying a piece of land illegally and registering FIR against him.
Mr. Achakzai served the notice to Jan Achakzai and deputy commissioner through his lawyers pleading that these false allegations damaged his and the other members of the family reputation.
The PkMAP Chairman said in his notice that the former caretaker information minister and deputy commissioner Quetta should apologize to him and his family in a press conference within seven days after receiving the notice.
“If they failed to tender an apology within a given time they have to pay the damages of Rs. 20 billion and if they failed to pay damages, legal process would be initiated against them,” the notice said.
