In a significant political development, Mir Sarfraz Bugti, the former Balochistan Home Minister, has emerged victorious in the recent election to become the 20th Chief Minister of Balochistan. The seasoned politician contested the 2024 election under the banner of the People’s Party and secured a resounding victory from PB-10 Dera Bugti. This marks a new chapter in Bugti’s political journey, a testament to his unwavering commitment to public service and the betterment of Balochistan. Mir Sarfraz Bugti’s political journey is characterized by a trajectory of dedication and service to his constituents. In the 2013 general elections, he entered the political arena as an independent candidate from Dera Bugti. Subsequently, he joined the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and secured a seat in the Balochistan Assembly.
