QUETTA: Balochistan has witnessed an alarming increase in traffic accidents. In just the first 10 days of the current month (MARCH), 383 traffic accidents occurred on national highways.

According to the statistics from the Medical Emergency Response Centers, out of the 383 accidents, 502 individuals were injured, and 8 people lost their lives.
Traffic accidents were reported on the Quetta-Karachi, Quetta-Zhob, Quetta-Chaman, Quetta-Jacobabad, and Quetta-Loralai highways. Most of the accidents took place on the Quetta-Zhob highway, with a total of 98.
