The city roads and streets were also flooded with heavy rain, which badly affected the traffic, and people were facing massive traffic jams in different areas of Quetta.

The drains and sewerage system failed to drain out the rainwater, which was flowing on the main roads and streets in residential and commercial areas, causing great difficulties for pedestrians.

Reports reaching Makran, the Pasni, Ormara, and other towns located within the coastline were also receiving rain. Officials said that the majority of areas which were submerged after last week’s heavy rains in Gwadar were dewatered using heavy engines and pumps arranged by the Gwadar Development Authority and PDMA from the Sindh government.
