QUETTA: Dr. Rubaba Khan Buledi, Advisor to the Chief Minister of Balochistan on Women Development, has said that skill development programs will empower women in Balochistan, particularly those from remote areas. This will not only boost their confidence but also aid in the welfare of their families.

She shared these thoughts during a meeting with a delegation led by political and social activist Sana Durrani. The delegation presented a project focused on teaching unconventional skills to women in various districts of Balochistan to empower them.

Dr. Buledi expressed her delight at the proposed project, saying, “It is essential that we work together to highlight the hidden talents of our women and build a bright future for them.” She reaffirmed the provincial government’s commitment to providing opportunities that not only empower women but also strengthen the socio-economic structure of the province.

During the meeting, discussions were also held on promoting traditional crafts in Quetta and other areas and connecting them with national and international markets. Dr. Buledi noted that the unique craftsmanship of our women showcases their creativity and hard work. “We are determined to promote their skills and provide platforms that help their work reach global markets.”
