QUETTA: Quetta Bar Association President Qari Rehmatullah has stated that they will ensure justice for Mrs. Humera who was killed by her husband’s hands, and have expressed solidarity with her brother, Advocate Zohaib Shah, who has filed a request against the murder of Mrs. Humera.
He expressed these views while addressing a press conference at Quetta Press Club on Tuesday, accompanied by Senior Advocate Attaullah Langove, Fatah Mari, Advocate Samra, Advocate Zafar Mari, Advocate Shamsuddin, Malik Hafiz, and others.
He mentioned that Advocate Syed Zaher Shah is being pressurized by influential individuals to withdraw the request, and threats are also being made, while Zohaib Shah has refused to withdraw the request. He said that according to the post-mortem report, the deceased was strangled to death, and instead of arresting the killer, it is condemnable to threaten the advocate. We will not leave our advocate companion alone under any circumstances.
He has requested the DIG Nasirabad and SSP Kachi to conduct a thorough investigation while fulfilling the demands of justice, to provide justice to Mrs. Humera in a better way, and to apprehend the killers and bring them to justice. Otherwise, if a fair and transparent investigation is not conducted and the killer is not arrested, we will take our course of action.”
