QUETTA: The Balochistan Assembly has adopted a resolution without any opposition demanding that federal government to declared April 4, the death anniversary of Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto as official gazette holiday  in recognition of his services for democracy and giving a consensus 1973 constitution to the country, on Monday.

The PPP senior leader and MPA, Mir Sadiq Ali Umrani move the resolution on behalf of PPP MPAs, including Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Ahmed Bugti, Ms. Ghazala Gola, Deputy Speaker, Nawab Sanaullah Zehri, Sardar Sarfraz Domki, Mir Zahoor Ahmed Buledi, Molvi Noorullah, Mir Asghar Rind, Mir Ali Madad Jattak, Samad Khan Gorgage, Obaidullah Gorgage, Bakhat Muhammad Kakar, Asfandyar Kakar, Ms. Shahnaz Umrani, Ms. Mina Majeed and Sanjay Kumar, in the house.
The resolution read that Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto, the first elected Prime Minister was awarded death sentence 45 year ago without completing the demands of justice and the supreme court of Pakistan has accepted in this opinion that the death sentence of MR, Bhutto was judicial murder.
It further said that he had given a consensus constitution of 1973 which bind the four federating units of the country and established parliamentary democracy in the country.
The resolution asked the provincial government to approach the federal government for declaring April 4th, which is the martyrdom day of Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto, as officially Gazetted Holiday.
Mir Sadiq Umrani, Mir Zahoor Ahmed Buledi, Mir Asghar Rind, Ali Madad Jattak, Bakhat Muhammad Kakar, Ms, Mina Majeed, Sardar Abdul Rehman Khetran and others while speaking on the resolution paid rich tributes to Mr. Bhutto and said that it was Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto who laid foundation of making Pakistan a nuclear power, made all out efforts to make Pakistan a welfare state and did not compromised on democracy and supremacy of constitution and for which he was hanged under a well planned conspiracy.
They strongly condemned terrorist attacks in the country and said that terrorists do not want development of Balochistan and the country. Mena Majeed, Zahoor Buledi , Mir Ali Madad Jattak, Sardar Abdul Rehman Khetran said that the people of the area where terrorists were operating should stand up against them and boycott of these elements. “I’m not afraid of anybody and would not hesitate to condemn those who were involved in terrorist attacks and killing of innocent people,” Mina Majeed said.
The house also adopted a resolution moved by the JUI-F MPA, Mir Zabid Ali Reki strongly condemned Israeli aggression, and bombardment on innocent Palestinian and killing hundreds of thousands women, children and youths and  demanded of the federal government to take up the issue with united nation and international human rights originations.
It demanded that joint efforts should be made for stopping Israeli forces attacks from air, land and sea on Gaza and other areas which were killing innocent Palestinians.
