In the run-up to the upcoming general elections, the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has released the latest statistics of registered voters.

In the last five years, there has been an increase of 21,024,713 voters in the country. In 2018, the total number of registered voters in Pakistan was 105,955,409.

In 2023, the number of voters has swelled to 126,980,272, as of July 25. Out of these, there are 68,508,258 men and 58,472,014 women.

Punjab has registered the maximum number of voters with 72,310,582; followed by Sindh with 26,651,161; Khyber Pakhtunkhwa 21,692,381; Balochistan 5,284,594; and Islamabad 1,041,554.

According to the 2023 statistics, the number of voters aged between 18 and 35 is 57,095,197, while those aged between 36 and 45 are 27,794,708. The number of voters falling in the 46-55 years age group are 18,124,028, those aged between 56-65 years are 11,889,259. Those aged 66 years and above are 12,077,080.
