Levies officials said that the girl, who was identified as Humaira the daughter of Abid Hussian, went missing last evening and family made efforts to trace her, but failed to find her.

However, the people informed the local administration about the presence of a girl’s body in the bushes on the outskirts of Nall town. The Levies officials rushed to the site after receiving information and took the body into custody and shifted to district hospital Khuzdar where doctors confirmed her death.

Levies quoting hospital doctors said that she was raped before strangle to death.  “The cause of eight year old Humaira death was throttling her, “hospital doctors confirmed and added that she was also raped.

The family belongs to district Jhal Magsi who came to Nall in search of work. The father of the ill-fated girl was working on daily wages.

The body of the girl was handed over to the family after completing medico legal formalities. Levies force has registered a case against unknown accused and started investigation. No arrest was reported so far.
