KOHLU: Levies Force in Kohlu District, acting on a tip-off from intelligence agencies in Surf Nala area of Kahan, recovered a large quantity of arms and ammunition from the hideout of terrorists which was to be used for terrorism in the province.
Imran Ibrahim along with Assistant Commissioner Kohlu Abdul Sattar Mengal told reporters during a press conference at Levies Line Kohlu that the QRF of the Levies Force, acting on a tip-off from the intelligence agency, recovered Indian-made weapons hidden in the ground.
“The scale includes 500 rounds, 1 mortar gun, 1 mortar round, 25 BM12 missile rounds, 25 RPG 7 rounds and other weapons and ammunition which were to be used for sabotage in the province. The catastrophe is being suppressed in the area,” he told.
“The sacrifices of the Levies Force will not be allowed to go in vain,” he said.
Assistant Commissioner told that the operations against the anti-national elements will continue. The Deputy Commissioner said that one lakh for the Levies personnel participating in the operation.
“Rs. 1 lac Prize has been announced for the personnel, who took part in raid,” he told.
