Chinese company sack 15 employees

GWADAR: Chinese Communication Construction working on East-Bay Expressway Gwadar project has sacked its 15 employees from the service violating the agreement signed with the employees working on the project.


The representatives of the employees of the East-Bay Expressway said here that out of 15 employees 10 belong to the port city of Gwadar and five from Karachi.

“An agreement was signed on 20 May 2020 under which the company has sent these employees on vacation for one year on without pay due to Corona situation. The agreement is availed up 20 May 2021 but they were sacked on Sunday without any
reason,” they said and added that the government should take notice and get the sacked employees restored.
