Paramedics stages protest against dismissal of colleagues

QUETTA: The Pakistan Paramedical Staff Association Balochistan on Monday staged a rally and protest at Hockey Chowk against what they alleged forced dismissal of their president and other members by health department.

The protesters marched inside Civil Hospital and attempted to cross into the red zone but Police didn’t allow them to enter hence they chanted fully throat slogans against dismissal President Shifa Mengal and other members.

Provincial Chairman Rehman Mengal, Shifa Mengal, Abdul Salam Zehri, Salam Baloch, Aziz Baloch and other members of Paramedical Staff Association Balochistan addressed the protesters at Hockey Chowk lauded the full participation of Paramedical Staff member,

“We strongly condemned the forced dismissal of Paramedical Staff members and President Shifa Mengal in Civil Hospital calling the decision as illicit,” Muhammad Tariq Kadezai said rejected the inquiry committee.

The Paramedical Staff Association has threatened to reverse the action against paramedics staff members threatened to withdraw services from Civil Hospital.
