QUETTA: Chief Minister Balochistan Jam Kamal has shown concerns about constant criticism over social media against Balochistan government claiming lack of facilities in quarantine centre of Taftan.
“Representatives from another province shall think ten times before making statements about Taftan. We have provided food and medical services to people in Quarantine for 14 days. If we had not kept people in Quarantine, 8,000 people would have entered Pakistan without checkup,” Jam Kamal lashed out.
“More than 5 million people arriving by air plane, were they put into quarantine,” Chief Minister Balochistan asked as he expressed displeasure over the criticism of Twitter.
While responding to criticism of Chief Minister Balochistan, asked whether half of a million people coming by air planes were kept in Quarantine? Representatives of the provinces should think 10 times before naming Taftan. Did you send an agent here to check or facilitate?,|” he insisted.
“Had we not kept people in Quarantine, 8,000 people would have entered Pakistan without checkup. We provided food and medical facilities to Quarantina for 14 days,” CM Balochistan said.
