QUETTA: Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has submitted its report regarding alleged video scandal and harassment incidents reported in the University of Balochistan in the High Court of Balochistan on Monday.

QUETTA: Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has submitted its report regarding alleged video scandal and harassment incidents reported in the University of Balochistan in the High Court of Balochistan on Monday.

The learned bench of the high court comprising of Chief Justice, Mr. Justice Jamaal Khan Mandokhel and Justice Abdullah Baloch appreciated the efforts of FIA on the timely submission of the report regarding University of Balochistan video scandal.
However, the details of the FIA report on the university, has not made public by the court so far. In the last hearing the learned Chief Justice share the initial report of the FIA with the Special Committee of the Balochistan University in his chamber and asked not to made report public.

The bench bench heard the alleged video scandal and Harassment. Chief Justice Mandokhel said during hearing, “Cameras were installed inside the University premises for the security purposes. If anybody used them for illicit, immoral and illegal purpose than this attempt would be fall in crime.”

He also remarks that duties and responsibilities of the person deputed on the security were only to ensure monitoring. How a person deputed on monitoring of the security cameras succeeded to get the specific Data.

“Federal Investigation Agency conducted procedural action, when they sense that something going illegal inside the university campus” told by Chief Justice High Court of Balochistan. CJ Balochistan high court said that no camera has recovered from the washrooms of the university, but some cameras were found installed on unauthorized places.

He questioned that if it is a crime than what action taken against the people involved in immoral practices. The officials of the University of Balochistan administration submitted to the court to give them some time to take proper action against the elements involved in immoral practice.

The division bench of the Balochistan High Court also ordered Federal Investigation Agency to take action against the people involved in corrupt and illegal practices and report in this regard and must be tabled its report before the court on 18th of December.
