QUETTA: Representative of UNO Project Services and CEO Sustainable Housing Solutions Martin called on Deputy Commissioner, Gwadar Captain (R) Mohammad Wasim.

In the meeting, Deputy Commissioner Gwadar briefed the officials that that the government of Pakistan has been implementing the Naya Pakistan Housing Project, as approval for the construction of houses for fishermen has been approved. “8,000 houses will be constructed for the fishermen under the new Pakistan Housing Project in Gwadar,” he said.

DC told that Naya Pakistan Housing Project will start formally starts the work from Gwadar as well. Under the project, the residential areas consist of 200 acres. Fishermen will be able to acquire houses in affordable installments.

It was also told in the meeting that a factory will established by the Pakistan Housing Scheme in Gwadar to begin work on the housing project in January, while this housing project is a very important project for the development of the fishery community as well.
