QUETTA: Citizens In Quetta faced immense woes due to suspension of mobile service throughout the day during 9^th Muharram called mobile service suspension as unlawful.

Following security threats Federal Government has suspended mobile services in Quetta during 7^th and 9^th Muharram processions causing hardships for citizens as they unable to contact with their loved ones.

The citizens in Quetta has urged federal and provincial Governments to adopt more security arrangements instead of suspension of mobile service.

A notification issued on Sunday stated, mobile services in Quetta would be suspended during 9^th and 10^th Muharram from 6:00am to 08:00pm.

“Disconnecting Balochistan with other cities was unlawful because there wasn’t any justification for suspending mobile service in Quetta.” Citizens said added mobile service should have been suspended at procession routes.
