QUETTA: Unknown armed men in Mastung opened firing on a Levis soldiers on Thursday killing him on the spot.

According to Police, unidentified armed men riding on motorbike targeted Levies Soldier Samiullah with indiscriminate firing at Khush Khair area of district Mastung while he was heading to perform his duty,

“As result of unprovoked firing Samiullah has been killed on the spot while the attackers managed to escape.” Police added.

Assistant Commissioner Mastung Habib ur Rehman Loni, Tehseeldar Buland Khan Shahwani and Levis Force rushed to the spot while the body had been shifted to Ghosh Buksh Raisani Hospital for autopsy.

Talking to Journalists AC Mastung said, it was a targeted killing but we would take strict action against terrorists attacked on Levis soldier, “Hunt to nab the terrorists commenced and the attackers would be brought to justice.”

Provincial Minister Zia Langove has expressed grief over the killing of Levis Soldier Samiullah asked report from officials, “The terrorists don’t deserve pardon hence provincial government would take decisive action against bunch of peace spoliers.” Langove added.

Provincial Minister said, government standing with the bereaved family and we would support the family of martyred soldier.
