Engineers’ Grand Alliance alleges government for committing reprisal action

QUETTA: The Balochistan Engineers’ Grand Alliance on Sunday strongly condemned government action against Engineers alleged after negotiation provincial government commenced retaliatory action against BEGA.


QUETTA: The Balochistan Engineers’ Grand Alliance on Sunday strongly condemned government action against Engineers alleged after negotiation provincial government commenced retaliatory action against BEGA.

“Provincial Minister Engineer Zamrak Achakzai, Arif Jan Muhammad Hassani and Secretary Law negotiated with protesting Engineers and assured quick implementation on our demands but the action yet to be started.” Chairman BEGA Engineer Adil Naseer said alleged government of reprisal action against Engineers in Balochistan.

“Government has been side-lining senior engineers and appointing junior Engineers in order to show its respond over our protest while show cause notices being issued to Engineers in Mining Department.” He added.

The Engineers Grand Alliance urged Chief Minister Jam Kamal to take immediate notice over retaliatory action against Engineers vowed to bring intensity in their next protest.

The BEGA has called immediate meeting on September 12 to review incumbent situation and decide future’s plan.
