QUETTA: Balochistan Pharmacists Alliance staged rally and protest for their demands in front of Quetta Press Club this Friday. Protesters held placards and chanted slogans in favor of their demands.

QUETTA: Balochistan Pharmacists Alliance staged rally and protest for their demands in front of Quetta Press Club this Friday. Protesters held placards and chanted slogans in favor of their demands.

While addressing on the occasion, speakers said that they have established a hunger strike camp for last 74 days, to record their protest but government has not made any effort to resolve their issues. Government has no interest even if we are without any employment, as ratio of non-employed pharmacists is on the rise, they said.

Protesters claim, government is not advertising any jobs as hundreds of pharmacists are holding their degrees in hands and struggling to get a job. They said that their morale is high, will not bow down until the demands are accepted at higher forum.

Balochistan pharmacists announced that a sit-in will be held in the next phase of protest at Quetta’s Edhi chowk for the demands, if any physical harm came to any protester, government will be held responsible.

Balochistan Pharmacists alliance is protesting for last two and half months, through a camp outside Quetta Press Club for the demands of vacancies in respective profession.
