QUETTA: Chief Minister Jam Kamal Khan Aliyani on Friday has laid down foundation stone of Green Energy Project in Gwadar under Gwadar Development Project phase 3 calling the initiative as an important progress in provincial development.

“Positive outcome was palpable across Balochistan whenever we starts any development project in Gwadar, Green Energy Project would meet the energy demands of Gwadar.” Jam Kamal said while addressing the inauguration ceremony of Green Energy Project.

Federal Minister Zubeda Jalal, Provincial Ministers Zahoor Ahmed Buledi, Engineer Zamrak Khan Achakzai, Muhammad Saleem Khosa, Noor Muhammad Dummar, Chief Secretary Balochistan Dr. Akhtar Nazeer and officials from district Gwadar were present in the ceremony.

CM Balochistan has called Gwadar as an emerging city in the world that has would fulfill demands of International investors, “2019 would the year of Gwadar’s development, Gwadar International Airport, Eastbay Expressway, Gwadar Master Plan and projects for port-city in Federal PSDP would change the fortune of local population of Gwadar.”

He pledged provincial governments’ full cooperation with foreign companies willing to invest in Gawadar added we have been working on new reforms for Gwadar in order to unveil a new governing system in economic hub of Balochistan,

“Following one window-operation we would be able to provide necessary facilities to local and international investors, hence provincial government has been attempting to strengthen the capacity of investment departments and government employees.”

Chief Minister Balochistan further said, we have been utilizing all resources in order to commence practical implementation on Gwadar Smart City project while water issues of Gwadar being addressed on priority level,

“Sub-Campus of University of Balochistan being established in Gwadar city which would ensure provision of quality education for youth of Gwadar.” Jam Kamal added.
