QUETTA: Chief Minister Balochistan Jam Kamal Khan Aliyani on Monday vowed to strengthen capacity of Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) added government utilizing earnest efforts to expand CTD’s network in all divisions in order to bust out terrorists’ networks.

He shared these views while visiting Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) Quetta’s headquarter where he chaired a high-level meeting regarding law and order situation in the provincial capital.

Provincial Home Minister Meer Zia Langove, IG Police Mohsin Hassan Butt, DIG CTD Aitzaz Goraya and other security officials were present in the meeting.

Briefing the Chief Minister regarding security affairs DIG CTD said, planning being finalize to connect CTD’s network with other divisions and we have been working on digital mechanism following need of 21^st century which would help us in busting out terrorists’ activities and their networks.

“Efforts being utilized to establish a digital forensic lab in Quetta, Geo Fencing and digitalization of all available data.”

Lauding the contribution of CTD Quetta in curbing terrorist attacks CM Balochistan said, Government of Balochisan has been utilizing all resources for sustainable peace in the province while security forces have been obtaining major achievement,

“Government has decided to announce 500 new posts in CTD which would increase the human resource capabilities of the department.” Jam Kamal said added our forces have been rendering their lives in order to ensure peaceful environment in Balochistan.

Jam Kamal directed the authorities to introduce a specific Text Book and Testing Service regarding new recruitments in CTD.

He pledged to fulfill all needs of Balochistan Police and CTD on priority level in order to make sure efficiency in performance of Police and CTD.
