QUETTA: The first death anniversary of Balochistan Awami Party leader Nawabzada Siraj raisani was observed here on Saturday.

While addressing a public gathering on first martyrdom anniversary of Nawabzada Siraj raisani, Nawabzada Jamal Raisani wowed to continue mission of his father, for a prosper Balochistan and Pakistan. A number of political leaders including provisional ministers, MPAs, and party workers of Balochistan Awami Party attended the reference.

Nawabzada Jamal Raisani paid tribute to his late father and said that his father sacrificed his life for the good of his people and his country.
He was martyred only for speaking in favour of Pakistan and its people. We will not stop but continue the his mission from where he left, Jamal Raisani said as he insisted that struggle for the rights of common people will continue.

“I didnt just lost my father this very day, but also a very dear friend and teacher”, Jamal Raisani grieved. He also thanked Army Chief for naming Shaheed Siraj Raisani as Solider of Pakistan and said that people of Balochistan are the most patriots and love their Army from core.
Founder of Balochistan Awami Saeed Hashmi paid tribute to Siraj raisani and siad that he was punished for chanting ‘Pakistan Zinda Bad’ slogans. Though he is not with us but he did leave us a son and an army of youth who will keep their struggle for a better Pakistan.
“I had suggested Mir Siraj to stop campaigning in public as he had so many threats, as he could have easily campaigned while staying at home”, Former Minister of Balochistan Mir Asim Kurd Gello addressed.

We also offered him a senate ticket instead of General Elections, but he refused as he wanted to serve his people.
Siraj Raisani was a humble but very dedicated politician with a heart of a lion, Asif Kurd Gello added. Former Caretaker CM Balochistan Alaudin Marri also spoke on the occasion and hailed Mir Siraj for his struggle.

He said that the news of his death shattered his heart. He will be remembered as a patriot young leader for his love for the people. PPP Balochistan President Ali Madad Jatak said, Siraj Raisani looked up to Zulfiqar Ali Bhuto at his young age.
As a companion of Mir Siraj Raisani he knew what a great asset he was for this province. He wowed that struggle of Mir Siraj will continue by following his footsteps.

Adviser to CM Balochistan Bushra Rind said that Mastung tragedy cannot be easily forgotten, Siraj Raisani was lion of Balochistan, his mission will be continued through his son, who has all of ours support. Dinesh Kumar, Adviser to CM Balochistan also said that Siraj Raisani was an ideology which will live on. Balochistan grieves the loss of Siraj Raisani and stands firmly with his son.

He also spoke on behalf of Chief Minister Balochistan Jam Kamal and said that CM jam Kamal has assured that all the promises Siraj Raisani made to the people of Mastung, are to be fulfilled by the government. Public gathering also demanded from government to rename Quetta Airport as Siraj Raisani Airport.
