QUETTA: National Party on Sunday staged a protest demonstration against unannounced load shedding in Quetta announcing wheel jam strike on June 30th if provincial government didn’t resolve electricity issue.

QUETTA: National Party on Sunday staged a protest demonstration against unannounced load shedding in Quetta announcing wheel jam strike on June 30th if provincial government didn’t resolve electricity issue.

The protesters blocked Quetta-Chaman, Quetta-Zhob, Quetta-Ziarat and other highways in Balochistan and chanted fully throat slogans against QESCO and provincial government.

NP Leaders Abdul Majeed Kakar, Saeed Khan and Haji Muhammad led the protest and set on fire used tires to block the highways

“Due go negligence of Quetta Electric Supply Company, agriculture has completely been destroyed while in hot weather unannounced load shedding increased public woes.” They addressed the protesters.

“During agriculture season, QESCO has increased electricity breakdown which tantamount of economic murder of local farmers.”

The protesters threatened to announce wheel jam strike in Kuchlak if provincial government and QESCO didn’t end prolong load shedding in Quetta and its outskirts.
