QUETTA: Two Paramilitary force Frontier Corps (FC) soldiers sustained injuries after an explosion hit their vehicle in Huramzai area of District Pishin on Saturday.

According to details, the convoy of Frontier Corps Balochistan 71 wing was in route to Sanzla Dam carrying Iftar dinner when an Improvise Explosive Device (IED) hit it inuring two soldiers.

A heavy contingent of Law Enforcement Agencies along with rescue workers reached the spot and shifted the injured to near DHQ Hospital for medical treatment.

“The convoy of Paramilitary Troops was heading to its destination with carrying Iftar dinner when an explosion hit their vehicle.” Deputy Commissioner Pishin Aurangzeb Badini said added confirmed two soldiers sustained injuries.

So far no group claimed responsibility of the attack till the file was reported but forces have launched search operation in the area.
