QUETTA: The Provincial Minister for communication and works, Mir Mohammad Arif Hassani presided a meeting regarding the going on arrangements related to the budget of 2019-20 here on Monday.

Meanwhile, the participants of the meeting include Secretary C&W, Mohammad Hasim Gulzai, Chief Engineer Quetta Zone, Zaffar Gichki Chief Engineer Sibi Zone Malik Abdul Rasheem and others.

While addressing in the meeting the provincial Minister said, provincial government through a comprehensive plan bringing prudent measures into practice to intensify the performance of government departments and eliminate corruption from them.

He expressed determination to ensure provision of performance to the department under him. He urged the government officials to work honestly and must make the institutions result oriented.

While inspecting the budget 2019-20, he said Public Sector Development program is in its final stage. Projects of collective nature have been framed in the upcoming budget.

It was also decided in the meeting that people residing in the rest houses of C&W department would be identified and government would charge the residents of these rest houses. No one would be allowed to stay in these rest houses for long time.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the minister was informed about the issues of the employs of C&W department. He assured the employs that their legitimate issues would be resolved.
