QUETTA: Police foiled a terror bid and recovered remote controlled bomb planted in farmlands in the Essa Nagri area of Berwery Road on Saturday.

The Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) reached to site and diffused the Improvised Explosive Device (IED) successfully, and BDS officials confirmed that the bomb was up to three kilogram in weight and Nails and other explosive material were used in the bomb.

The local police lodged the case, while further investigations were underway.
