CHAGAI: Security forces have foiled a bid to smuggle narcotics from Afghanistan through Pakistan to Iran and confiscated 2000 kilograms of hashish including arms and ammunitions.

According to official sources this operation was ended after heavy exchange of firing which left injured three drug smugglers who managed to escape from the scene, however Security Forces recovered their two land cruiser vehicles near Nokkundi area of Chagai district.

The concerned authorities would further investigate the case.
