CHAGAI: Provincial Finance Minister Mir Muhammad Arif Muhammad Hassani says all resources would be utilized to provide relief and rescue services to the flood affected people in Balochistan.

He regretted over the losses caused by flash flood in certain areas of the province. He stated this while addressing a meeting at his camp office in Dalbandin wherein he expressed satisfaction over the relief activities conducted by Local authorities, PDMA and Pak Army.

The meeting was attended by Deputy Commissioner Chagai Fateh Khan Khajjak, Superintendent of Police Muhammad Hashim, Assistant Commissioner Dalbandin Habib Nasir, Additional Deputy Commissioner Najeebullah Qambrani and line department officials reviewed the upcoming and ongoing development schemes, current weather situation and expected challenges.

Finance Minister Mir Muhammad Arif Muhammad Hassani was briefed regarding the performance, needs and issues of certain departments by their district heads.

Emphasizing on better performance, Mr Hassani directed the participants to ensure their presence on duties at any cost and conduct necessary action against those subordinates who were found absent. “Public money should be spent on their welfare and each penny would be counted in this regard.” Mr Hassani concluded.
