QUETTA: A gas pipeline was blown up in Pir koh area of district Dera Bugti on Saturday.

As per local administration, unidentified miscreants placed an explosive device near the gas pipeline and later detonated it by remote control. A sizeable portion of the pipeline was damaged in the blast.

An official of local administration said that the repair work on the damaged portion of the pipeline has been initiated and it will complete soon.
