CHAGAI: After heavy rainfall in Dalbandin flood water entered in some residential parts of Dalbandin which triggered the local administration to begin relief activities.

The recent rainfall commenced at midnight which continued till pre dawn in Dalbandin on Saturday.

Most areas of district Chagai received heavy rainfall too, whereas 44 millimeter recorded in Dalbandin since last twenty four hours.

Streams filled with flash flood which covered most of the connecting roads, mud ways and low living areas. Several mud houses damaged due to flash flood in KilliKohi Khan and adjoining villages. Deputy Commissioner ChagaiFateh Khan Khajjak along with Superintendent of Police Muhammad Hashim and Assistant Commissioner Dalbandin Habib Nasir inspected the affected areas.

Following Deputy Commissioner directions the flash flood was blocked with tractors by MuncipalCommittee Dalbandin, Administrator Ghulam Abbas was monitoring the relief activities all the time who also got drained rain the rain  water from urban areas of Dalbandin city.

According to sources hundreds of feets of railway track was also damaged near Dalbandin due to flash flood which caused in suspension of Pak Iran Cargo Train Service. Deputy Commissioner ChagaiFateh Khan Khajjakdistributed relief goods among rain affectees in Dalbandin.
