GWADAR: Ten under trial prisoners, involved in murder, attempt to murder, dacoities and theft have escaped from Gwadar police station lockup after injuring a police personnel in exchange of fire, on Sunday.

Police officials said that the accused also taken away the official weapons of the police station.

According to police sources the accused kept in the luck up made a police constable on duty hostage into the lockup when he went inside to check one accused on the information that one accused escaped from the luck up.

The under trial accused after making police constable hostage escaped from the lockup and when another police man tried to block their way, they opened fire and injured him seriously using officials weapon.

“Escaped under trial prisoners took away three automatic weapons with them,” police officials confirmed.

Soon after receiving information security forces cordoned off the area and launched a search operation to trace out the accused. According to late night information levies has arrested two accused fro Degree College area Gwadar. Further investigation was in progress.
