“Health sector remained the key subject of incumbent government therefore we had declare emergency in health and education sectors, first time in provincial history the provincial government released funds for medicines to increase the efficiency of health department.” CM Jam Kamal said while talking to Journalists.

He shared these after inaugurating the new Out Door Patient Department’s building in Civil Hospital Quetta on Saturday added our focus was to complete the new building on given timeframe because daily nearly 2000 patients visits OPDs in Quetta,

“The new OPD building would be able to bare the influx of large number of patients because the government intended to provide a new building for poor patient with all facilities.” Chief Minister Balochistan said added we seek to revive the health department’s system.

Talking on provincial cabinet’s decision to establish emergency medical response centers on national highways CM Jam Kamal said, with the assistance of PPHI the provincial government has been establishing 14 new emergency spots that would provide emergency medical care during accidents on national highways,

“Three to four routes would be established in all arteries of Balochistan connects the province with Punjab, Sindh and bordering areas while ambulance facility would be available in all new structures.”

Talking on implementation of drugs regulation Jam Kamal said, from last four months the provincial government has been launching a campaign on regular basis against un-registered labs and clinics while dozens of sub-standard labs and clinics were sealed,

“Without any conflict the provincial government taking measure to provide quality health facilities to the people of Balochistan because without proper healthcare we can’t develop the province.” Jam Kamal said added the government also addressing issues of doctors and paramedical staff because we are responsible to make sure facilitation for health staff.

Calling the safe return of Dr. Ibrahim Khalil as good omen the Chief Minister Balochistan said, indeed the government was moving with proper responsibility and we wanted address things professionally because any statement could have been harmful for Dr. Khalil’s life added people have witnessed the groups involved in kidnappings purged out in last eight months,

“Being provincial government we have to look after the security of the whole province because we can’t place security guards on individual basis, we have to work on our system because with functional system people would feel secure.” CM Balochistan said.

Talking on the Quetta Safe City Project Jam Kamal said, tough previous government didn’t pay attention over Quetta Safe City Project but our government took the issue on emergency level because when criminals uses technology, you should counter them with the use of technology, “Indeed law and order can’t revamped over 100% after Safe City project but gradually criminal activities would be appeased.”

Calling the doctorate as nobel profession Jam Kamal said, doctors’ community should understand the sensitivity of their profession because people relies on them and their meager negligence could pushed them to the stage of no return,

“The Doctors’ community should point-out the weakness in system and facilitation, being provincial government we would address them but where we provide all faciltiies to the doctors’ community, they should fill their responsibilities with honesty and professionalism.” Jam Kamal said offered the doctors to pursue their private practices in government hospitals.

He added the provincial government in last cabinet meeting approved transferring powers on district level because the provincial government has been working to centralize all affairs in Balochistan.

Replying to a query regarding Cancer and Cardiac Hospitals in Balochistan CM Balochistan said, Prime Minister Imran Khan also pledged Cancer Hospital for people of Balochistan but it was a provincial government initiative to build cancer and cardiac Hospitals in Balochistan and we inducted the projects in our PSDP.
