The ghetto once upon an epicenter of gang war turned into havens of white collar crime. I wonder to see the people from posh areas rushing toward slums to get their job done by earning million of rupees on the name of education and sports.

The ghetto once upon an epicenter of gang war turned into havens of white collar crime. I wonder to see the people from posh areas rushing toward slums to get their job done by earning million of rupees on the name of education and sports.

I fail to understand that why the rich are so greedy that they are not sparing the money of needy people. Initially, they register the foundation which is very hectic process but they would not leave any stone unturned to get their foundation registered. Indeed, they are highly educated and done their degrees in western countries where students are taught to sympathies with their fellow citizens but ironically they have not appeared when the slum was engulfed by gang war and inhabitant were picking up the death bodies of their beloved ones.

A number of NGO’s are working in lyari to lift the standard of its resident life, it cannot be hidden that developed nation and its organization pouring million of dollar in third worlds countries to support the deserving people but malpractice and mismanagement are common in Pakistani society. One of the foundations has adopted a school to provide quality education to the children of labour class who cannot afford to send their kids to expensive institution but for my bewilderment j got to know that the organization has been paying a meagre amount to its teachers.

Meanwhile there is gap between donor and receiver though the exploiters have been taking advantage of this, the helpless people have been living hand to mouth but the rich has no space to hide their ill gotten money, therefore government need to provide quality education and implement article 25-A which is permitted that its state responsibility to provide basic education to children age of 5 to 16 but unfortunately state abdicating its responsibility.

However, I witnessed that opportunist stormed to the slums with digital cameras along with drones to capture the image of dilapidated places where kids are running with barefoot, one of the organizations has earned its name as international beggar. Because the organization was created by elite people to promote football but it has been earning million of rupees and kids were deprived to get basic equipment to play soccer.

My message is very clear and loud I want to see that funds are reaching to the needy people instead of falling at the hand of mafias, Indeed government should devise a mechanism to be surveillance to audit that whether the funds allocated for welfare purpose spent on the needy people or siphoned by middle men.
