“When we took charge, the province was plunged with severe financial crisis, but after positive measure by the Government of Balochistan, situation has under controlled as we have revised Balochistan Revenue Authority (BRA) to boost provincial economy.” Zahoor Buledi said while talking to Journalists in Quetta adding we have plans to impose new taxes on foreign investment including CPEC.

Calling incumbent Government’s performance satisfactory Information Minister said, positive changes are palpable in Balochistan during last 100 days of provincial government, “We have been taking measure to transfer power in lower level by strengthening all Divisional Directorates while clearly directed all department to avoid nepotism.”

“Implementation of Quetta Safe City Project would be started in coming days while Chief Minister Balochistan has pledged merit based new recruitments in all government departments.” Buledi added.

Sharing views on the recent government’s steps toward Water crisis in Gawadar and Pasni Provincial Minister said, people of Makran Division have gained access of clean drinking water while further steps being taken to yield long standing water solution for people of Balochistan,

“Provincial Cabinet has imposed water emergency in Quetta following decreasing water level in the provincial capital and its adjacent parts, construction of Burj e Aziz and Halq Dam going to be started.”

Talking on the burgeoning coal mine accidents in Balochistan which killed hundreds of coalmine workers Buledi said work on new legislation for the protection and basic rights of coalmine workers underway, the new legislation on provincial mineral fields would yield positive results for mining workers.

“Action against encroachment in the provincial capital underway that provided relief in traffic flow, the government has major plans for the traffic issues of Quetta city which would be implemented in coming weeks,”
