QUETTA: Burgeoning drought, terrorism and abduction of a doctor remained the prime debates in Balochistan Assembly Session held on Saturday while the house also offered fatiha khawani for martyred FC soldier of Turbat.

The Speaker Provincial Assembly Mir Abdul Qudus Bizenjo took oath from newly elected members in by-elections BAP’s Abdul Rasheed Dashti and Sardar Masood Loni.

Talking on the previous approved resolution over drought in Balochistan Assembly, the Parliamentary Leader of BNP Mengal Sana Baloch has said, the province in full of chaos, kidnappings, terrorism and drought has jammed human system but provincial government has been focusing on Jeep Rallies which stopped the cycle of provincial development,

“Opposition parties had tabled a resolution in provincial assembly seeking government attention over drought and demanded a committee while imparting all data.” Sana Baloch said calling provincial government immature and unable to rule over masses.

He added, the provincial government departed relief goods in drought hit areas after watching media reports and assuming that imparting rations among affected people would resolve the issue,

“The Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) departed six trucks of relief goods in my constituency which would be unable to provide relief merely 50 families.” Sana Baloch demanding house attention towards drought issue.

The Awami National Party’s Parliamentary Leader Asghar Khan Achakzai congratulated newly elected members and called upon concrete measure towards drought.

Raising the issue of teachers’ protest regarding Educational allowance Asghar Khan Achakzai said, today teachers from primary to college level are protesting for educational allowance thus we must address this valid issue on priority levels to end teachers’ protest.

Calling house attention over protest of Missing Persons’ families, doctors, fishermen and Journalist Sana Baloch said, unfortunately all people from all sectors have been protesting which predicts the province in hot water, “The Provincial Government has to show some seriousness towards these issue and debates should be set in the house upon those issues.”

Addressing the house JUI F’s Parliamentary Leader Malik Sikandar Advocate has said, the cabinet should review the educational act because education doesn’t comes in mandatory services, we should refrain from committing injustice with teachers.

Upon Sikandar Advocate’s request Speaker Qudus Bizenjo has said, the issue yet to be included in the house agenda.

Giving ruling over the demise of Senator Azam Musakhail Speaker Qudus Bizenjo has adjourned the proceeding till December 18.

It is here to be mentioned that the discussion over Auditor General’s report of 2017-18 regarding provincial expenditures was due in Saturday’s Assembly proceeding but over the demise of former MPA and member of Senate the proceedings was adjourned.
