QUETTA: A stalwart commander of banned BLA on Tuesday surrendered before the Provincial Government among his 70 companions vowing to join mainstream and work for the development of Balochistan and Pakistan.

QUETTA: A stalwart commander of banned BLA on Tuesday surrendered before the Provincial Government among his 70 companions vowing to join mainstream and work for the development of Balochistan and Pakistan.

“The state has been playing its role as mother and cuddling the disgruntled fighters but we have to take action against the elements destabilizing peace in Balochistan by taking blood money from hostile agencies.” Senator Sarfaraz Bugti said while addressing a ceremony in Frontier Corps Headquarter.

Senator Anwar ul Haq Kakar, Provincial Home Minister Saleem Khosa, Sector Commandant FC Balochistan Brigadier Tasawur, Chief of Marri Tribe Nawab Jangaiz Marri and Government officials were present in the ceremony.

The fervent Commander of banned Baloch armed group Daran Mari announced to surrender before the state along with his 70 companions.

“For decades we were being used by so-called Baloch leaders who were living in abroad but pushed us into a dirty war against the state.” Daran Marri said adding reality has cleared before us and now we will work for the betterment of Pakistan and Balochistan.

He added, we had picked up arms against the state following the orders of leaders being paid by RAW and Indian Government but now we will be the defender of Pakistan calling other fighters to join mainstream.

Welcoming the surrendered Baloch fighters Senator Sarfaraz Bugti said, our brothers who took shelter in mountains joining mainstream and more would likely to skip war against the state adding despite their all faults our government cuddling them,

“Peace has been restored in Balochistan after the sacrifice of our martyrs, Balochistan has been moving toward development and with unity our enemies will taste defeat.” Sarfaraz Bugti said slamming Baloch leaders luring innocent people of Balochistan.

He added, today people of Balochistan supporting nationalist leaders those believe in democracy and participating in national elections, but the so-called nationalists distracting people have rejected them.

“Compare with previous years Pakistan has gained major achievements in restoring peace and the armed forces played a colossal role for maintaining peace in Balochistan.” Senator Bugti added.
