Balochistan is considered as the least developed province of Pakistan, despite being the largest province in terms of area. Balochistan is not least developed in education sector but in every walk of life. It is especially economically none develop.

The richest resource province is deprived from the basic facilities about education. The literacy rate is very low. The quality of education is seemed totally destroyed as no measures are being taken to bring changes in education system.
The literary rate is almost 39% in Balochistan. In Balochistan there are 12,500 primary schools and among these 7000 are without classroom, teacher and proper facilities like Water, Electricity, Roof, sanitation and many students are studying open sky. Yet there has been no action taken by provincial government. There are as well, 10,000 ghost teachers in Balochistan. They are not delivering their services but taking salaries. They are the devastating future of the upcoming generation.
There are 2.5 million children’s are out of schools in Balochistan, serve as Shepherd, snatch water, collect wood and work on farms. The ratio of children is 3.6 million but among them 1.3 million is being school and others are deprived from the basic right education.
There is plenty of reason which causes dismal condition of education in Balochistan. Although there are numbers of government education institutes, these institutes are not managed properly. The government is not trying to ameliorate it. Lack of schools is another burning issue which becomes the cause of dismal education system in Balochistan.
Some tribal leaders are also founded involved deteriorated education system in Balochistan. They have this supervision that if youth is aware about their basic rights so, they will depreciate against them. They don’t want their people develop and to stand with them. They want people to live under their rule. With this condition it is difficult to established schools in tribal areas.
There is lack of political interest for their betterment of education system in Balochistan. The poor leadership is also responsible for dismal education system.
In this 21st century where the world is developing in every sector but unfortunate most of children of Balochistan is out of schools. The million of children’s is unaware about their basic rights.
Today our nation is facing multiple problems in advance era. Government should provide free education to improve the standard living as it is the basic right of every child in everywhere. There should be NGOs who advocate them in every walk of life. The million of children’s is unaware about their basic rights. I hope that current government will take serious action to improve the education which will lead to improve the economy and reform the education policy in education department.
