QUETTA: Following official result of Election Commission of Pakistan Balochistan Awami Party emerged as leading party in General Election after grabbing 13 provincial Assembly Seats while BNP is in the 2nd position with remained triumph on 09 seats.

QUETTA: Following official result of Election Commission of Pakistan Balochistan Awami Party emerged as leading party in General Election after grabbing 13 provincial Assembly Seats while BNP is in the 2nd position with remained triumph on 09 seats.

As General Election results emerging from across Balochistan till midnight of Wednesday Balochistan Awami Party (BAP) emerging as leading victorious political party in Balochistan.

According to officials data of Election Commission of Pakistan released on its website BAP won 13 Provincial Assembly Seats, Balochistan National Party Mengal 09 and Mutihida Majlis e Amal MMA in third position with winning 07 Provincial Assembly Seats.

Election result on National Assembly Seats is yet to be announced by ECP as results from all constituencies is yet to be compiled.

Following un-official result of 76 polling stations on NA 272 Gawadar/Lasbela Balochistan Awami Party’s Jam Kamal is leading with total 18143 votes, Independent Candidate Aslam Bhotani is on 2nd position with bagging 16799 votes and Balochistan National Party Mengal’s Sardar Akhtar Jan Mengal is on 3rd position with having 8117 votes. It is pertinent to mention here that result from Gawadar are yet to be compiled.

As per un-official results total 28 polling station on NA 271 BNP Awami’s Syed Ahsan Shah is on leading with his opponent candidates BAP’s Zubeda Jalal and BNP Mengal’s Jan Muhammad Dashti.

According to un-officials sources thorny competition on NA 265 Quetta City is continued among PK MAP’s Mehmood Khan Achakzai, JUI F’s Hafiz Hamdullah, PTI’s Qasim Suri and PML N’s Raheela Hameed Durrani. But the triumph on NA 265 is yet to be announced by officials as vote counting remained continue till last early hours of Thursday.

According to reports Balochistan Awami Party candidate on PB 09 Kohlu Nawab Jangez Marri boycotted elections alleging that elections were rigged by PTI’s candidate Naseebullah Mari.

Media reports revealed that first complete result on PB 36 Shaheed Sikandar Abad has emerged which claims independent Candidate and brother of former Chief Minister Mir Naimatullah Zehri win the election with receiving 11280 votes while his step brother and BNP Awami’s Candidate Mir Zafarullah Zehri on 2nd position with 9991 votes.

Caretaker Chief Minister Balochistan Alla ud Din Mari showed satisfaction over the peaceful and conducive process of election in Balochistan and applauded armed forces efforts in maintaining law and order across the province.
