Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Syed Mohsin Raza Naqvi on Wednesday returned home after the series triumph against Ireland.
According to details, during his visit to Ireland, Naqvi held a meeting with the Ireland Cricket chief to discuss the series between Pakistan and Ireland in the future as well.
The possibility of holding the series between Pakistan women and Ireland women was also discussed.
Naqvi will now review the matters in line with the interior ministry for the next two days.
Few days back, Naqvi urged the national cricket team to embrace an aggressive playing style and modern techniques in T20 internationals following their recent defeat against Ireland.
The call for a tactical overhaul came during a meeting held in Dublin between national team players and Mr Naqvi, where the PCB chief stressed the need for a competitive edge in the T20 format.
Acknowledging the talent and professionalism of the players, Naqvi particularly commended the bowling attack while underlining the significance of impeccable fielding to thwart opponents’ chances.
Stressing the importance of teamwork, he underscored the collective effort required for achieving success, urging unity and cohesion among the players.
