CS vows to ensure quality work in Quetta’s projects

QUETTA: Chief Secretary Balochistan Abdul Aziz Uqaili has said that will no compromise on the quality of the construction work of the development projects in Quetta.

Work on the projects will continue without interruption to ensure the completion of the development projects within the stipulated period, transfer of utility services on Sabzal Road. The problems should be solved on priority basis.

He said this while talking on the occasion of his visit to Quetta city on Wednesday. On this occasion, Additional Chief Secretary Planning and Development Hafiz Abdul Basit, Deputy Commissioner Quetta Shihak Baloch, administrator Quetta Jabbar Baloch, Project Director Quetta Package and other relevant officials were also with him.

The Chief Secretary reviewed the progress of the construction work on the development projects of Sipiny Road, Radio Pakistan Road, Inscomb Road, Sariab Road, Eastern Bypass under the Quetta Development Package. He reviewed the development projects under the Quetta Development Package. While directing to speed up the work, he said that there will be no compromise on the quality of the construction work of the development projects and ensure the transfer of utility service lines as soon as possible.

Work on the projects continued uninterrupted to ensure completion of the development projects within the stipulated period. He directed to solve the problems faced at the earliest and review the progress of work on the projects on a daily basis and said that the problems of transfer of utility services on Sabzal Road should be solved on priority basis. And the existing projects are very important for the convenience of the citizens.

He said that with the improvement of Quetta city, completion of projects, Quetta will become a modern, beautiful and developed city. He directed that the trees in the paths of development projects should be moved to safe places.
