QUETTA: Vice-Chancellor University of Balochistan Professor Dr. Shafiq ur Rehman has termed Botanical Garden as important for research and experiments stressing upon general public to ensure clean environment in Balochistan.
“Being a civilized society, we should make our city and neighborhoods clean in order to build a healthy society because in current COVID-19 pandemic cleanliness proven vital tool against the contagious virus.” VC UoB Professor Dr. Shafiq ur Rehman said on Wednesday while visiting Botanical Garden and residential colony of UoB.
The Vice-Chancellor checked various saplings and herbs in Botanical Garden of University of Balochistan stressed upon plantation of various saplings of different countries in order to ensure research facilities for Botany Students.
However while visiting the residential colony of University of Balochistan the VC stressed upon more efforts to ensure cleanliness pledged residents that their issues would be resolved on priority basis.
