QUETTA: Prof. Dr. Abdul Razzaq Sabir, Vice Chancellor, University of Turbat has said that hardworking, dutiful, talented and responsible faculty, administrative officers and employees of the university are a source of pride for the university.

“We will ensure the provision of facilities to students, teachers and employees,” he expressed these views while addressing a meeting with the newly appointed staff of Gwadar Campus of University of Turbat.

Besides, the newly appointed staff Assistant Director Admin & HR Abdul Majeed, Assistant Director Finance Rehmatullah and other employees also attended the meeting.
Addressing the meeting, Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Abdul Razzaq Sabir congratulated the newly appointed staff. The Vice Chancellor said that the students, teachers and staff should move forward with a spirit of teamwork and mutual respect to achieve the goals set by the institution.

Prof. Dr. Abdul Razzaq Sabir said that the University of Gwadar Act has been passed by the Balochistan Assembly, land has also been allotted for the University and Gwadar Campus will soon be complete and independent.
“It will become an international level university which will play an important role in raising the standard of education in Gwadar including Balochistan and across the country. You are fortunate to be one of the founding members of Gwadar University which is no less than an honor,” he added.

He said that the talented teachers and staff deployed on merit would use all their abilities to provide the best and best education to the students.
He said that the welfare of the university employees was one of the priorities. He said that with the establishment of Gwadar Campus, the people of the area have access to higher education opportunities at their doorsteps which need to be fully utilised.
“Turbat University is making rapid progress and in a short span of seven years And the establishment of sub-campuses in Gwadar is one of the major achievements of the university. Speaking on the occasion, Campus Director Ejaz Ahmed Baloch said that a training workshop for the new staff would be organised soon in the light of the instructions of the Vice Chancellor,” he said.

Later, the Vice Chancellor also visited the site allotted for Gwadar University. The staff briefed him about the land allotted for Gwadar University.
On this occasion, the Vice Chancellor said that a letter would be written to the Higher Education Commission very soon for planting on the land of Gwadar University.
