QUETTA: President All Balochistan Petroleum Dealers and Association Haji Wali Muhammad Lehri and Qayam udd Din Agha have urged Federal and Provincial governments to take action against private companies not giving fuels for petrol pumps added the attitude of companies have been causing fuel shortage in Balochistan and Quetta.

“Accept Pakistan State Oil, other private fuel companies are not supplying fuel for petrol pumps in Balochistan despite petrol loaded tankers still parked in Quetta.” Wali Lehri and Qayam udd Din Agha said while addressing a news conference on Wednesday.

“Shell, Bico Attock, Askar and other private companies had decrease fuel supply for Balochistan during Ramdaan but since last week of May accept PSO, all private companies have shut fuel supply for Balochistan which triggered out petrol turmoil in the province particularly in Quetta.” They said urged immediate action by Provincial Government.

Citing the damage they have been facing the Petroleum Association Balochistan said, following meager supply of petrol they are unable to sell fuel on recently declined price demanding immediate notice of Federal Government Ogra and Petroleum Ministry.

Replying to a query Haji Wali Muhammad Lehri said, 30% petrol pumps in Balochistan have been receiving fuel supply from PSO while 70% relies upon private companies but unfortunately despite loaded oil tankers the companies not providing fuel to majority petrol pumps in Quetta.
