CHAGAI: The Chinese state-owned company Metallurgical Corporation of China (MCC) has handed over anti pandemic medical supplies to the provincial disaster management authority of Balochistan. According to a press release issued here on Wednesday.T

The said anti-pandemic materials were urgently procured by MCC which includes 200,000 disposable protective masks, 4000 nucleic acid test kits, 2000 sets of medical protective clothing, 2000 pairs of medical gloves, 2000 goggles and 100 infrared thermometers.

“The outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic once again witnessed that China and Pakistan are true friends in times of difficulties and good brothers sharing weal and woe.” the press release further added. According to press release, After learning that Balochistan is short of anti-pandemic materials, MCC tried its best to help Balochistan to fight against the pandemic.

The said materials for contribution are part of MCC’s practical assistance. Since the beginning of the pandemic, the concern and assistance from MCC has never been stopped. It was mentioned in the statement that, “Previously, on March 27th, MCC Resources Development Company (Pvt.) Limited had delivered flour, cooking oil, rice and sugar to the six surrounding villages of Saindak, At the same time, in order to actively respond to the call of the Chief Minister of Balochistan, nowadays the company has been coordinating with the local government for further contribution of living necessities to the families in Chagai district.”
