QUETTA: Baloch Doctor Forum (BDA) Balochistan expressed great concern on increasing number of doctors infected with coronavirus, and slammed government for failing to provide facilities at hospitals despite repeatedly requests.

In a statement on Wednesday, BDF also censured government measures so far taken for the containment of outbreak as well as for the safety of medics and claimed so far four doctors had been infected with deadly virus across the province and number could be jumped if the situation did not bring under control timely.

“We don’t want and demand any guard of honor, but facility of basic precautionary arraignments are our right and it must be ensured by government at any coast, not only we have been deprived of facilitates but also from salaries, statement stated further.

Censured the polices adopted by government for transferring and terminating medics at this stage, where their expertise needs to be utilized, the BDF claimed that government unpinning the attention from actual issue while using these tactics, other said it also playing its politics on microbiological website and characterizing the situation as “All is Well”.

Citing the situation as “Pathetic and devastating” the BDF appealed for Chief Justice Balochistan High Court to come forward and overview situation by own that how the patients and doctors are being treated by provincial government despite claiming.

It also laid stress on need of collective efforts against the situation and urged all medics chapters for formation of joint plate form and mechanism in order to tackle crippling situation and for addressing difficulties of medics.
