CHAGAI: The assistant commissioner of Dalbandin Ayesha Zehri has been transferred and directed to report to services and general administration department (S&GAD) in Quetta.

According to a notification issued here on Monday by S&GAD government of Balochistan, Mohammad Javed, the additional deputy commissioner (revenue) of Chagai, was posted as assistant commissioner of Dalbandin.

Ayesha Zehri is an active and vocal female officer who has served in many parts of Balochistan as assistant commissioner. Her name was surfaced when she did a press conference against Chagai’s deputy commissioner for not letting the levies force to take charge of drug she had allegedly recovered from Pak-Afghan border sometimes ago. Some sources said certain influential political forces in Chagai were also not happy with her therefore she was got transferred. It is worth mentioning that chief minister Jam Kamal had also praised her for rendering better performance during his last visit to Chagai recently.
