QUETTA: The government staff appointed at a quarantine center in Quetta turned the facility into a picnic point amid miseries being faced by people who have been isolated on the suspicions of coronavirus infection.

On one side quarantined people are protesting the lack of basic facilities and food, the officials of health department and PDMA spent the last night while enjoying barbecue, bottled water, etc. adding insult to their miseries.

In the video, the official staff can be seen cooking chicken pieces, kababs on fired coals and the tantalizing aroma of the barbecue might have roasted the hearts of helpless people who are away from their homes.

The isolated men, women and children, who returned from Iran, are out of blankets required in the night due to cold weather. They have also complained about insufficient food.

All those crossed into Pakistan from Iran have been placed in quarantine for 14 days in order to prevent the spread of the Coronavirus in the country.

Currently, there are 53 confirmed cases of the COVID-19 in Pakistan with 35 in Sindh and one in Punjab.
