QUETTA: Spokesperson of Government of Balochistan Liaquat Shahwani has said that the Sibi festival is of vital importance in the history and culture of Balochistan.
“Like every year, the traditional enthusiasm is being shown at Sibi festival,” the spokesman said.
He further said that the city has been decorated as a bride, which has brought a wave of joy to the people. Due to the historic importance of the Sibi festival, people from all over Balochistan and all over Pakistan participated in the festival.
“Cultural shows, Meena Bazaar, Circus, Shooting competitions, Horse & Cattle Show, Industrial Exhibition and Food Street are part of the mega festival,” he said and added that the district administration deserves appreciation for the best arrangements made in accordance with the Sibi festival.
Explaining the cultural and economic importance, Spokeswoman Liaquat Shahwani further said that the festival will set a wonderful example of unity and love, even crossing the road to success.
