QUETTA: Heavy machinery of Communication and Works department have been taking party in relief operation at Kozak top the Quetta-Chaman highway in order to restore traffic blocked since Sunday following heavy snowfall.

According to details, Secretary C&W Noor ul Amin Mengal on Monday visited the Quetta-Chaman highway at Kozak Top and reviewed relief operation.

The Quetta-Chaman highway was completely blocked due to heavy snowfall on Sunday as dozens of vehicles and passenger buses stranded in snow.

Secretary C&W ordered immediate relief operation in order to restore traffic at Pak-Afghan trade highway.

Meanwhile till Monday eve, the C&W department restored the traffic as heavy machinery was used in relief operation.
